As in the early church we have put Deacons in place, to fairly assess and meet the needs of the people. This has provided a way to genuinely and consistently minister the Gospel to those in need, not just in words but in deed also.

“For I testify that they gave as much as they were able even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in the service to the saints.” (2 Corinthians 8:3-4 (NIV) ) This is an opportunity for the members of the church to continue to give generously to this ministry.
